Picture Back with g-701 and pics...

    Hi sirs,
a long time is passed since my last post on this great forum. In these days i'm playing around with my new camera, so here are a copule of pics of a fresh G-701 (arrived two weeks ago, always on my wrist since then... ). Commments about the pics (and of course about the watch ) are really appreciated. Thanks

    JK

Wow! That is very cool looking G. What's its full model #? How did you set up your camera and lights to take those amazing close-ups? I can never get mine to cooperate like that. Very nice indeed!!

Stunning pictures. Stunning enough to make me slaver over a watch with hands, which I don't usually do.

    Magnifique!
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

Thank you very much for your comments:thanks !! The full model number is G 701-9AVER, I own several G Shocks, this is surely one of my favourites. Camera settings are really very simple: an open window (no artificial lights), some white sheets of paper, a tripod and the camera white balance set on "natural light". Then i try a lot of shots with different exposures (if your camera has a live histogram you can check the exposure with it).

    Greetings
    JK

Don't be afraid to sound rude Ozzie! No problem here. The camera is a Sony DSC-W30. It's a relatively cheap camera, but features a 6MP sensor, 2 cm macro focus and Carl Zeiss Lens :gold . I bought it mainly for back up use (I have a Nikon D100 DSLR), but I think It takes very good pics for a sub compact camera.

    Greetings

You must have taken a lot of patience to take the photo.
