    Backlight image attempt #2...

I wasnt happy with the quality of the image I used in my earlier post so I changed some settings, mainly I changed the resolution and set the printer to photo quality (I only have an inkjet so I am at a disadvantage for small prints to begin with). Much sharper and clearer image!!!! I altered a Bleach logo for this one... couldnt be happier, its a keeper!!!! (yes I watch Bleach with my kids) Now I am going to pic up a 5600 and really go to town... thanx again..

    Here is what I did..
First I disassembled the watch removing the LCD..
There is a thin piece of plastic between the LCD and LED pad
I removed this piece and traced around it with a pen on a piece of
paper so I would have a template.
I printed my graphic on a Hammermill premium inkjet transparency sheet which I bought off of ebay, 10 sheets for $6 shipped. I set my printer to photo and selected transparency for paper type.
I just centered my transparency of the template I made of the original plastic piece and cut it out.
I inserted the new plastic piece with graphic over the led pad and then replaced the lcd display then reassembled the watch...
When I get my 5600 in the mail I will take photos and try to do a proper tutorial, I had to use my digital cam corder to get the pic I posted..
