    Bape 6900 watch in ebay...

    Hi Guys,

I just made a thorough research on the real and fake white 6900 bapes.

Those who are looking for a genuine one in ebay, here are some major points that will help you to spot a fake almost immediately (P.S i know some people have suggested looking at the small triangles at the corners of the box, however these points that i recommend are the fastest way to spot a real from a fake):

    REAL white 6900 Bape:

    1. LCD Screen is gold.

***ALL FAKES on ebay have a plain LCD screen. (*This is 1 of the quickest way to spot a fake)

    2. Ape logo/wordings on box is gold.

***ALL FAKES have a silver logo/wordings on box.

    3. When the watch first came out many months ago, all the real deals in ebay were having a start price of USD600+++.

    ***ANYTHING BELOW USD600 IS FAKE!!!
These are the 3 quickest ways to spot a fake bape 6900 watch. However some sellers are very clever and actually use photographs from genuine sellers.

Thus if the deal is too good to be true:

    1. Stay away.(99.9% found on ebay now are fakes)

    2. Request more photographs from the seller and demand that the photograph must show the watch with a sheet of paper containing his ebay userid on it.

***A LAST NOTE: Many fakes on ebay are also sold by power sellers or people with 100+ positive feedbacks. Thus do be extremely careful when buying the 6900 bape watch on ebay.

They are very easy to spot....

All your advice was excellent...the other telltale signs are the fonts and words on the watch and band.

    Here's a fake:

I've attached a pic of mine...real...just look carefully at the lettering and it's easy to see. Another odd aspect is that in the ebay auctions, they always say it's an edition of 2000 when in fact, it was 500. Actually, I'm not sure I've ever even seen a real one on ebay.

    Hi Petew,

The white bape has a limitation of 2000 pieces, black 1000pieces. Red more...can't remember as the red is not a popular model.

    cheers~

Re: Bape 6900 watch in ebay...

i think most people don't care if these bape watches are fake or not (that's why they are selling on ebay). people just want to buy the bape name and show it off to their "urbanwear" friends they have bape.

i bet people who buy these bape watches do not know anything about watches.
