Battery not showing as full on app

Hello all. I have the new Gravitymaster Gwrb1000 and I absolutely adore it.

However I've had it for a few weeks now and left it in the sun a few times on the windowsill for like 30 min a piece, and I'll leave the window open in my room where it's stored when not wearing. It does not seem to show over 50% charge in the app on my phone (Android 9). On the manual indicator it seems to show a bit under full.

Just wondering if I should be concerned that this isn't charging? Also that it appears discrepant betweent the app and the watch.

Also of note is the auto Bluetooth updates don't seem to work but I've been blaming my phone for that.

Thanks in advance and sorry for so much text.

    update to latest version?
    clear the app cache?
    re-install?
if all that dont work, then guess nothing else will :P

Okay. I did all of this and the battery still shows only half full on the app.
I'll have to wait to see about the time auto sync. It seems that the connection is spotty in general now when I repaired it haha.
I'll also try to take in out in the sun all day tomorrow with me and see what happens

Had similar problem. Sent the watch to Casio under warranty repair. They replaced the entire module and now it shows 99% steadily.

Darn I really hope I don't have to do that and that the app is just wrong haha. I may take it in to the g-shock Soho store if I'm in the city soon

I’ve found that solar watches need WAY more time on a windowsill than you would think as the glass seems to suck a lot of the goodness out of the light. It’s also my experience that the last bit of charge seems harder to achieve than the first bit so don’t be devastated if your watch doesn’t jump to “max” after a day in the sun.

Thank you sir!! Yes I'm not overly worried about it right now. Going to give it a few weeks. Also the app seems like people are having problems with Android 9 so I'm sure that's part of it too haha.
