    Battery query - 1984 Casio SA-100

    Afternoon everyone!!

I just had one of my latest eBay purchases delivered, just to sell on probably. Out of all the batteries I have sitting on my bench, I don't have one to fit so can anyone shed any light on which one I need please?

The watch is a 1984 SA-100 like this, (pic from Google):

A search on Google gives no results, most likely due to it being an old watch and maybe originally only made for the Japan market? It's a thin watch, probably only about 5-8 mm or so. It does work if I hold a too small battery inside it, so I'd love to get one which is correct.

Cheers for anyone's help, there must be somebody?

    Rick

Module is the 436 and even in Casio website is not available, funny doing the search, found the advertisement for this watch, this is the grandfather of the swatch skin, really thin, so possibly can use the same battery.

the link to casios advertisement, cool things there :)

d2mac - yeah sorry, module number is 436, it also has 522541 stamped in. Was made in the Japan JT factory if that helps also?

    Cheers

Can you post a picture and the dimensions of the battery bay? That's the last resort, if can't find any document.

Yes really thick, that one you probably wont feel it in your wrist :) and was quite a good advertisement, so probably a big innovation to Casio, i suppose!
And i think your battery could be a SR516SW, Probably!!!
