After washing awg-101 I was swinging it to get most of the water off. Apparently I was swinging too hard and ripped the strap and bar right out of the case. It hit the pavement so hard even the other strap came out. Luckily it hit the case back because my wife bought me this one. Oh yeah, the watch still runs perfectly.

    Ouch !
That's why on the other thread I was saying a CF strap is a marketing gimmick. The weakest link is the spring bar.

You can't lose your watch with a single spring break on a Zulu (or Nato)! Don't know if you can thread the Zulu strap under the spring bars (extras are easily purchased) of that model but you can look into the Casio adapter for the Zulu.

Though I'm not a fan of Zulu or Nato straps, they ARE very comfortable to wear and probably the most secure straps you can have.

I tried putting the adapters on this watch, but they don't fit. I'm just not going to be whipping it around by it's strap anymore.
