Best Casio for Knockaround Outdoor Use

I haven't owned a G-shock for quite a while and am a bit overwhelmed by all the choices out there. I am looking for a good all-around outdoor watch to accompany me on backpacking, fishing, hunting and travel trips through some rough backcountry. I have another watch I use for diving so that aspect is covered. I was thinking of a Mudman, Gulfman or the new 1500 Pathfinder. Would one of those be a good choice or would y'all recommend something entirely different.

    All opinions welcome.

For all those activities, any would do, but the Pathfinder has compass, altimeter and barometer which could all be useful for the activities you mentioned. Also there's the Riseman which has altimeter and barometer.

Even the cheapest Casio with 50m water resistance will probably be fine. G-shocks and Pathfinders are just more fun.

Are you going to be hunting in Winter? If so, I would recommend one of the slimmer G's, like a 5600 or an 056, so you can put your sleeves over it.
