    Best G-shock backlights

I recently acquired both the G-9000, and the G-9100. I have various other G-shocks, but these two have become my favorites because of their unique backlights. Compared to a GW/DW 6900, the G-9100, and G-9000 have much cooler backlight displays . Has this backlight style been discontinued?

The dual illuminator is not discontinued as far as I know but I believe it is only on those two models

Edit: the g-8100 has it too apparently

I own a GW-9010 mudman, and I almost bought a G-9100 Gulfman for that nice dual illumination. It appears that some of them have the black model has the 2-tone green/blue, while the blue, ivory, and other colors have different colored backlight (some with white and orange)!

Is there a thread that shows all the different dual illuminators in action? I’d love to see pics of them all. My understanding is that it’s the non-solar/atomic models of the mudman and gulfman that sport them.

The GW-X6900CM seems to have very bright illuminators based on my experience owning one. Marketing calls it 'super illuminator'. See the youtube reviews.
