    Question Bezel 5400 and 5700

Whats the difference between 5400's and 5700's bezel ?
    Or they are the same?
    Thanks a lot!

    Hi Mouse,

To me they look the same, but since I do not own one of those, I'm not sure.

    Cheers,

The main difference is the 5400 bezel has a marking,I think it's on the right hand side 12/24hr. The 5700 bezel has in the very same spot rem. The 5700 has the reminder feature just like the 5600c. The 5400 does not have this feature. This is because the 5400 has the older 240 module as found in 5000,5200 etc. The 5700 has the 901 or the older models have the 691 module, just as the 5600c.

    DW5600 is correct

The main difference is the DW5700 has the REM markings on the bottom right side while the DW-5400 has 12/24. This is because the DW5400 has module 240 and the 5700 has ether 691 0r 901 depending when it was made (691 was made from 1987 to 1990 and 901 was made from 1990-1995)

As ether of these two bezels are very hard to find grab any you can find. Both bezels are interchangeable and will work on both

    Cheers

They also had a 5700 with gold or silver border on the crystal. If memory serves me the 5400 was also gold or silver. The bezel for the silver was lettered in red and white. The gold border bezel had yellowish/gold lettering on the bezel.
