Black deployment clasp mod - success at last!

I have posted before of my abject failure at fitting a suitable clasp to one of my G Shocks, the last one I bought did not have a wide enough gap between the spring bar, and the clasp to allow for the extra thickness ofthe G Shock resin strap. Now, I know this mod won't be for everyone, but I love it. It makes the watch feel more 'grown up'. No, I don't really know what I mean by that! Here's what it looks like:

The clasp was very inexpensive, and as such, I would judge the quality to be 'ford' standard rather than 'rolls royce', but it is more than adequate for me.

    VERY cool!
I definitively would like that for some of mine. The problem is that I have big hands, and so far with every deployant clasp I ever used, my hand was too big to fit through .
    Cheers!

That's very nice! The only mod I've made to mine is a black buckle, but a black deployment clasp is definitely on another level. Enjoy!

    OOppss...

Maybe I should have done a 'before' & 'after' - a black buckle was the before

It is the most amazing strap I've ever seen on a G-Shock. Well done, mate!

That definitely looks serious, and professional. The black looks good on the yellow. Great idea! I want to do this on my orange Gulfman now :)

The black buckle should come standard... thanks for the link for the clasp, think I'm gonna follow your progression :)
