In my 40 years, I've never noticed how exciting the range of casio g-shock watches are as I'm not really into digital watch. Whenever I pass by a casio watch counter/store, I hardly bother about it.
Having owned some timepieces from rolex to omega, couple of seiko(s), luminox etc, digital watches are the last thing on my mind.
But recently I've beginning to look for tough watches that can withstand rough use, is water resistant to 200m and can withstand shock/vibration and the most important criteria is that it won't cost a bomb.
After much reading n searching on the internet, and thanks to the great contributors on this forum, today I finally bought a casio DW-5600, although it ain't expensive, I'm very happy with it. No order watches has ever make me feel so excited, its really value for money. I mean, if all is well for this watch, it may even outlive me :)
But one question is, are the 5600 today as tough as those vintage 5600? Can anyone from this great forum post any pics of their beat up 5600, the worst it looks the better :)
