Broke the case on my Mudmaster

Unfortunately during the course of my work my Mudmaster took a serious fall and one of the arms on the case itself broken off with the strap. After talking to Casio the repair cost is almost as much as I spent on the watch. Has anyone found a resource to purchase the case and repair it your self?

eBay or PacParts. However some parts are restricted.

And if you don't mind me asking, can you post a pic? I gotta see this.

In this case you'll need a Spacemaster.

Brutal! Unfortunately, I don't believe there's a replacement part for this part of the GG-1000.

That said, you win the award for damaging a GG-1000! You might be able to salvage the watch as a desk clock.

My recommendation is that whichever watch you buy next has a stainless steel case.

damn, looks like a hard drop in the exact wrong spot.
did you find the bit that broke off? that and the best epoxy you can find, will have it back in action in no time
the other option would be to just sell it for parts and put the proceeds towards a new one.

whats it doing off your wrist anyway? :p

Re: Broke the case on my Mudmaster

Thanks for all the replies guys. I spoke with Casio today and they are thinking in the 140 ballpark to repair it. So now its a toss up of is it really worth it to repair or to move on to another g-shock.

To make matters worse I went back to my old Protrek and one of the strap strap screws backed out and the strap came apart. I'm having the worst luck with watches lately.
