    Picture Bubblegum Jason.

Just realized I haven't posted a thread for at least a year and a half lol. But just to show that I am alive and kicking, I shall post a short thread on my most recent purchase. One of my fav. too!

Have been eyeing the G-001-2 aka Bubblegum Jason for at least 2 years. Why wait for two years? I mean it's rare yes, but not Muramaki rare. You still can find it relatively easily, but at a very much inflated price. I wanted it but I didn't wanna pay so much more, so I slowly hunted it for close to 2 years, for one 100% BNIB complete set at a reasonable price. Finally found one so tadaa. Here it is. =D

Typical fashion it arrives in, from Japan.

Well-armoured packing for the trip to me.

Another typical Japan Domestic Market setup.

Love the colorway, love the atypical G-Shock design, love everything about this.

Even the plastic yellow buckle screams eccentric.

    Welcome back mate,

I dont really know what to say about the watch, im kind of speechless haha.

Well at least if you are caught in an snow avalanche and you are buried with one arm sticking out they will be able to spot you from the search and rescue plane from 3km away lol.

The world would be a boring place if we all had the same tastes.

    Congrats and cheers

Yeah haha, I am very aware of how many see the Jasons, especially this colorway lol. My very first reaction years ago seeing this for the first time was, "Why would anybody design a G-Shock that looks like this??" But this watch has the last laugh. Now I'm super loving it precisely because it screams unconventional, weird, eccentric, maybe to some, ugly. haha.

    Re: Bubblegum Jason.

I may not love the watch (as in wanting one for myself) but I love your attitude!
And it makes the watch way more appealing cause when I first saw it my reaction was close to what you said yours used to be.
But after seeing it on your wrist and the great graphic you put together and posted it is way more appealing and just fun and cool!
There was thread recently about - Real men wearing yellow G-Shocks.
Well, plain yellow is nothing compared to the ballsy attitude it takes to rock this one you have!
Congrats and enjoy it! And thanks for your post!!!

You love it and that's ALL that matters! Congrats on the new, very bright purchase! Just by wearing it, you might even add some colour to someone else's day hahaha :) Wear it in good health!

Nice Jason and I hope you wear it - I have spent that much time hunting for a square that when I finally got it, I am scared of wearing it, which was like 4 months ago - I can count with 1 hand how many times it wrapped around my wrist
