    Model A168WGG-1B has a resin case^^^

    Case is resin in models A158, A159, A163, A164, A168, A700, B640, F-91, F-105, W-59, W-202

The new A1000 case is steel, but have not seen a black coated case yet.

I'd like to see the model on the right released in solid stainless steel with sapphire crystal too.
I remember back in the late 1970's or early 1980's, Casio doing some nice quality 'dress' style watches. That's what I'd like to see again.
    Something slim & classy looking.
    Here, something similar to this.

I could stop buying watches, but I'm no quitter.

Rolex Submariner Ceramic ND 114060. Grand Seiko SBGN001G GMT. Omega Aqua Terra 8500. Omega Planet Ocean 8800. Omega Speedmaster 1863.

    Casio MRG-8100B-1AJF. Casio MRG-7600-1AJF. Casio MRG-7700-1AJF. Casio GMW-B5000-1ER. Casio GMW-B5000TB-1ER. Casio GW-5000-1AJF.

There are various online outlets who sell very convincing AM full metal square cases and bracelets, but I'm not 100 % sure about the legality of those.

Yeah there was a gigantic thread (or pissing match) about those, lol. I think it finally died.

A1000 cheap all-steel on the left, with the positive display and an 80s-style steel bracelet from an A700. Remaining bits and pieces used to make the one in the middle and on the right.

hence the quotation marks. ppl have been talking about a small metal square but dont want to pony up for the real deal so this could be an alternative.

A168 is far too small for me and I consider the painted resin case to be an abomination.
