To Buy or not to Buy, that, is the question

Who are we kidding! We all know the answer to that question.

Now that's out of the way.

Here is my dilemma; I only have two negative watches. The 6900KG-3 and 5600KG-3. Both have excellent outdoor visibility, indoor-not so good. I have scoured all of Google for images of the G7710 in comparison pictures. They are all good, especially Sedi's and Cal.45's low light shots. But I found no comparison shots of the 7710 and my two negative display watches. Pictures of the two watches in different photo's do not really help me. I would like to see them together in the same shot under the same lighting conditions.

Does anyone have the 7710 and my two watches? If so, could you please post pictures. I would be most appreciative.

I am planning on buying the watch for the feature set. I know I could get the 7700 but after a few purchases, I've determined I am not a big of a fan of shiny bezel watches.

    Thanks for your help,

Giving the thread a little BUMP as I'd be interested in those pics, too.

    Sedi,

I was surprised to only find two photos comparing the G 7700/7710, both on MyGshock.com under the images submitted by seven. Not sure if he is part of the forum or not.

I figured there would be more pictures posted considering we have negative display fans on this site. I have the G7800 and like the alarm features, which is why I was interested in the 7710. My 7800 is a tad dressy/shiny (for a G Shock) to wear all the time. I like the lower profile of the 7700/7710. The G7700/7710 and G5600/6900KG-3 appear to have a very small "cult" following and they do co-mingle.

You stated in a thread that the 7700 was to shiny so you returned/sold it. Is the 7700 shiny like the G 3011? Or is it a "brushed" finish metal like my SGW-100?

    Thanks for bumping the thread.

    Have a great day,

It's brushed on top and polished on the sides - still way too shiny for my taste and I didn't like the 3 colors of the display either:

I'm pretty sure the contrast of the G-7710 is better than that of the "KG" models but I don't have one so I cannot compare .
