Call me a thief, BC I just stole a gw9300gy

So I went to Macys to try and score a CLOT and still get the F&F discount....
However when browsing the case I see a gw9300gy mudman in smokey grey!!
    I was flabbergasted!
    What are the chances???
    BUT........
It had the wrong price tag....
It had the gw a1000 price tag.... Which is $500.
I got the sales lady to admit the price tag was wrong but she would not let me purchase it.
Well after some discussion and wanting to speak to a manager, she was able to find the correct price for the mudman.
It came out to be $200 minus the F&F discount for a grand total of $162.50 lol
    No manual, no problem
    No original box, no problem
    I still wanted it.

Long story short, I stole it and here are the pics!

That's the weirdest find at a Macy's yet! It's actually a NON-atomic G-9300GY, that someone went and installed a GW-9300GY carbon fiber band on....

Worth a lot more than you paid, though. Great find!

Thanks for the clairification. How can you tell that it is a non atomic version?

This is the same Macys I where I found a modded Ga110 with a military band. For some reason there is a guy modding them, then returning them lol.

Got my GY from Macys F&F too, last year! Then I quickly modded it. Hope you enjoy it!

The atomic says "multiband 6" on the front, the non-atomic G-9300GY says "world time"

But that band alone costs around $75 from Casio. Still a really great deal.

The real thief is the criminal who put the GW-A1000 tag on it and returned it for $500

Wow that means whoever returned it might have swapped it for a Frogman! He must have bought the Frog, then threw the Froggie tag on that Mudman and returned it. Yeah he did put the nice carbon fiber band on it, but he got his money back in spades, albeit underhandedly with the Frog...

cool find, but weird that the dial says world time which indicates non-atomic since the atomic says multiband 6 instead of world time, and the non-atomic's strap says tough solar instead of carbon fiber. Is the band itself actually carbon fiber or does it just say that? Regardless, good catch and price.

Actually, it had the new Analog Atomic GW A1000 tag. He probably purchased the GW A1000, then returned his modded muddy instead....
Crazy how he returned the carbon fiber band with it too...
