to camo or not to camo

Hello fellow g shock breathen.just turned the big 53 last week and was seriously Considering either the new mudman camo with its blacked out bezel and carbon fiber dark type camo strap or the blueish type camo pattern going on with the frogman, really navy theme Goin on there.both look pretty tight.the Range man was a little to garish green for me and broken lug issues have steered me away, what says the Duder,s of the G Shock forum?

    Cheers
    John

John I'm 77 and I sez shoot tha works Bro.
You only go round once. SIL has Mudman but not cammo.
But like yerself, he's ordered one. The cammo treatment
is baaad to tha bone..Who sez Casio isn't innovative? Or hasn't
sold a ton of G Shocks since 1983? 36,000,000 in fact.

I think Mudman is the nicest of the camo trio, definetly worth getting. Frogman is also nice, it's just that it has a bit more color overall, so it's not so subtile as black/grey Mudman.

My only gripe with the camo series is the camo ring around the crystal... I really wanted the frogman and possibly the mudman but this little camo ring just looks like a printing error to me and ruins the potential for modding it onto solid color resin in the future. It is too small of an area to get an adequate camo pattern displayed, I have no idea what the designers were thinking. In the initial photos I thought it was just a light reflection but then seeing it up close... I don't know...

I have the trio. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the three. I know this doesn't help but I don't have a favorite. I like them all equally so.

Yes the ring. I wish it was a solid color. Aside from that I really like them.
