    Can anyone identify this square?

I found this image of a square while randomly looking for a DW5600 image. From what I can see, it looks like a DW5600 but the design of the artwork on the crystal doesn't look like anything that I've ever seen. I also did a search on Pacparts for a DW5600 version that matches but no luck. The description on Google mentions something about G-Shock and Stussy collaboration but afaik, Stussy designs never had DW5600 that looked like this. Does anyone have an idea what this is? I'm strangely attracted to this version whereas the normal DW5600 does nothing for me.

Looks like an MS with a std E module in it? If it's all as std then it is a new one on me.

The 7900's are my favourites, although the 56s are currently my focus. But nothing is excluded, except pink Risemans.

Good eye, the artwork does seem to match the MS. Not sure if this is standard or not since I tried to get more information on the site that it was posted on, Pinterest, but unfortunately that was a dead end. The display seems a little different than on a std E though. It doesn't have that glittery effect in the background that a standard E has.

I've had an MS hence the spot but not an E. So u have me there. Interesting! It'll be solved soon no doubt.

Yes, you're probably right. In the worst case, I'll have to hunt down a MS and replace the module with one from a std E or replace the crystal on the E with one from the MS.

It's a good looking combo. Not a great fan of the random colours on some of the DW 5600 models. The MS face has it nailed.

Hi Kevio. Let be investigators and take this methodically. My advice check what module it has in it by depressing the adjust and mode buttons (both on the left), while also pressing the top right alarm on/ off/ start stop button all at the same time. Not easy but doable. All the LCD elements will check up. Then press the mode button twice slowly. Will show the module number (4-digits). Pres mode once more to return to home screen. Every G Square I know does this. Call it the old test pattern from the old picture tube TV's.

Once you have the model number you can google it and check specs, do further research to find circa years. Then go from there.

I can see why you like it. Its black of course. I do too. Lastly, is it a screw case back to plate back with 4 screws?
