Confused Can the G-Shock straps handle taking them on and off everyday?

It has to withstand taking it on and off atleast acouple times a day.

    Yes!

(Taking the watch of that is. Not the straps - see the answer below mine...)

Taking the watch off a couple of times everyday, or actually taking the straps off? The answers to that are, respectively; yes, and probably, but why?

I mean taking the strap off to take a shower or go to bed.

I'm pretty sure they're designed with that in mind.

I only ask because in order to unhinge the buckle you have to pull it back and bend it and that has to withstand alot of pressure.

I know what you mean, and that might end up being the cause of the strap needing to be replaced, but it's just unavoidable wear and tear. They don't last forever, but they're tough.

Hmm... this thread has got me thinking about shoe laces...
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

    Well...sure it'll last!

    Of course...if you're really worried...you could just spend $10 and have a back-up band on hand .
