    I doubt it.. Tried it on my analog/digi and once the oil hit the gears it froze instantenously..... I've so far hydro modded two 5600's and Gw7900B1 with great success..

    I guess I should have been more clear. Here are pictures of my Hydro'd GA-100. No bubble and the LED light/alarm works great. The improved clarity of the negative digital displays is amazing. Throw in the off angle clarity and it's a complete transformation.

    wow, I come very close to picking this model up on a weekly basis but always talk myself down. This hydro mod makes it look even better and would be a unique model to hydo as well as not very expensive. Which oil did you use? Does it still keep excellent time as in the oil does not slow down the operation at all. I assume not but I will be interested to hear how this mod does over a few weeks time. Keep us updated unless of course you have already had it running this way and can attest to it's continued accuracy. The only downside I see at this point is that it's not solar so you would have to refill it every two years or so when the battery dies.
