Off Topic post Can a "Righty" with small wrists wear the GFW-1000 Atomic Frogman.... Advise Needed Please

    Hey Chaps,

I currently own a GW-M5600 and for as long as it's been out I have wanted the GW-5000
since then however the new atomic Froggy has come out with the same build quality as the
GW-5000 but with the added feature of a tide graph which I would find quite helpful.

My problem is.... is that I wear my watch on my right wrist and it's only 6.5"..... So with the
Frog's large size and freaky assymetric design should I just forget about it and treat myself
to the GW-5000 which I have always wanted..?

Any pictures of the GWF being worn on a right wrist would be very helpful, and small right
    wrists even more helpful.

Thanks so much in advance for your help and advise.
    Cheers,
    Rico.

What's the size compared to a GX-56? Because i can show you one of those on a 6.5 in wrist. Or is it just the unusual shape that might make it weird?

Well I believe the size is about 50mm so quite big, but it's the assymetric case that potentially would be the
biggest problem if you wore it on your right wrist. I think it's a tiny bit smaller than a GX but not 100% sure.

    Cheers,
    Rico.

My wrist is 6.75 and both the GX-56 and Atomic Frog were too big for my tastes. The problem was not the size of the bezel, it was the way the strap was constructed. It doesn't hug small wrists, but rather sticks out on the ends. Some people don't mind this look, but it wasn't for me.

I think it might be a little uncomfortable but maybe you could pull it off if you wore it high and tight on your wrist.

I put mine on my 7.25 right wrist high and tight and wore it for an hour that way it wasn't as comfortable as my
usual left wrist but it wasn't that bad.

    Heres a pic

Thanks for the pic Scamp, even on your 7.25 wrist it looks fairly large, I have a feeling
I will be getting the GW-5000 after seeing that. I can certainly live without the tide
graph, just would have been useful, and I guess It will only cost me half of what an
atomic froggy would.... There is always an upside... Thanks again.

    Cheers,
    Rico.
