Unhappy Can you change the battery in a Solar G?

    Hi, newbie here,
I have a MTG-900 that I loaned to my son about 6 months ago. Unfortunately he never seemed to let the watch recharge completely and now it won't hold a charge. I am sure the battery is shot. I have left it out in bright sunlight for 2-3 days at a time and it will almost come back, but the minute an alarm comes on, it blanks out and the charge indicator comes on. It is completely blank right now. Is it possible to change the battery? I have changed others in everything from regular watches to a Seiko kinetic so I'm not too worried about the procedure, but what kind of battery is inside and will the watch come back after a replacement - does it need some kind of reset? I really liked this watch and it was my go-to watch when I traveled or needed a tough one. I'd like to save it if possible.
Thanks in advance for any info,
    Steve

Yeah, all you need is a new CTL1616 battery... as for the reset, there's an AC reset you have to press after you change the battery. After that it should be fine
