    Casio AMW320D-9EV

Still a well made watch after all these years?

My Citizen automatic recently bit the dust after about 7 years of abuse. Thinking about going with a Casio AMW320D-9EV.

Best price I've found is $50 with free shipping. Good deal?

    Thanks for your input!

I had two of these and both failed (analog time stops every now and then).
So its one of the few Casios that failed for me at all.

The battery is small and digital and analog times not synced.
I wouldnt buy one again. :(

I would rather opt for the all metal LCW line of atomic-solars.

Well that sucks. Sorry to hear that. I'm not familiar with the one you mentioned. Would you by chance have a link?

This is well known problem of this model. I had the same problem with mine and my friend too. I do not recommend AMW-320 at all. This watch is a piece of junk, sorry to say.

In my humble opinion, I don't think it worths $50 new. $30 new, may be more reasonable. Yes, it's a solid metal watch with classic design. But the internal module is old and very basic, not to mention lack of lume and/or light for night time reading.

Well, I definitely appreciate you input. Any suggestions for alternatives? (similar style, preferably under $100)

    Thanks again!

For a full metal watch, you can look at Lineage models, like suggested above. Radio Controlled Gentleman - Watch - Products - CASIO You can also look at Edifice line, EDIFICE - Watches - CASIO But most of these are over $100, though.

    Re: Casio AMW320D-9EV

Just as an update, I decided to go ahead with the Casio MDV 106. Too many positive reviews and suggested too many times for me to ignore.

    Thanks for everyone's input!
