    Casio Brigade

Out with the old Casio G'zOne TypeV cell phone, and in with the new Casio G'zOne Brigade. And just in time. The antenna fell off of my TypeV a few weeks back, in a foot of snow.

The new Brigade is quite impressive.

The Brigade's camera even takes pretty nice macro shots for the daily WRUW thread.

The new one looks very different. Have you showered with it yet?

No, but I did talk in the pouring rain last night. No problems so far. The seals actually look much better than the ones on my old TypeV, and that phone just laughed at water.

    Nice one.

Feel free to post some more pics. I've never had a look at one of these.

    Hello Buzzbait,

Cool telephone. If they had released the Type V in Europe on the GSM network, I would have probably moved heaven and earth to get one of these. The Brigade looks much better than the old one IMHO.

    Cheers,

    Sjors

Too bad Casio G'zOne models in general only work on the CDMA network; they're of little use to me where I am. Luckily I have a Samsung B2100 that fills the need somewhat.
