    Casio DW-5400

I have a couple of Casio's - a DW1000 and a DW-5400. Both are superb watches - great module design, simplicity etc. I love them! Problem is, the resin protective ring on the 1000 and the resin outer case cover on the 5400 are both long deteriorated and I've never been able to find replacements. Does anyone make them or does casio have a stash? I'd like to keep wearing them but the 5400 is out of the question as the button extensions stick out like insect antennae! any help gratefully accepted! Cheers :thanks Oz.

welcome to the forum and those are great old school watches.

for the 5400, i was wondering if u can fit a 5600 bezel.
i think the 5400 has the same bezel as the 5700.

You can fit a 5600 bezel on the 5400. The bezels on the 5400 and 5700 are the same except for the 24HR and REM. The resin bezel on the DW-1000 is going to be tough to replace as nobody seems to be carrying them anymore.

    Cheers, Greg

you can use an 5600c bezel or you can use this cheaper bezel and it looks much better than 5600c and only it's missing casio on top and light and adjust are other side and on your button on 5400 does it fall out then if it does then you need an tiny c piece to holds the button in place.

hey Ron, where did you get those knock off bezels??? i tried finding one but it turned out to be a hard plastic housing instead of a removable bezel
