There are 3 on the Bay and no one wants them. Looks like Atomic Frog is the next big thing! Old classics will be more affordable.

I was changing battery for my frog yesterday, so I ask the Casio Service guy "how good is tough solar? Is it really better?"
He responded, "No, I still like to work on quarts G-Shock better. It is simpler. Battery last for long time too. We have a lot of issues with tough solar. More people sent theirs back to us for repair.
I would stay with those standard quarts G-Shocks. Tough solar is good but definitely not better. It's marketing because tough solar models cost more. That is my honest opinion."

I thought you guys would like to know if anyone is looking for older Gs.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the quartz element is the part in watches that keeps time and has nothing to do with whether the watch is powered by solar or a standard battery. I believe most of not all digital watches use a quartz oscillator to keep time. Unless the new Froggy has gears inside it

NO, it is not call quartz. it is TOUGH SOLAR.
Yes, Yes. it is my fault. I mean standard battery and solar charged battery. My writing mis-quote accurately of what he said.

    Re: Casio DW-8200BK-1JF

He charged me $15 each. One Frog and one DW-002. I did not expect tax too.....those legit places......
I thought it was kinda expansive cuz I usually change my other quarts watches battery at Chinatown :P

My frog was a used frog. Not safe queen frog. Cuz I want to wear them, not collect them so I don't mind wear.
My frog is my wrist every day.
