    casio dw9000 surfing timer

just got this "well-aged" but mint condition dw9000.the bezel and strap have aged and turned their usual yellowish colour...now i know that trying to find replacement parts will be difficult..but my options are always to dye the bezel and that will solve the yellowish tinge, but will also lose the originality of the watch

has anyone tried to fit a dw9050 bezel onto this model? does it fit? it looks identical

    any help appreciated

DW 8800, 9000, 9050 and 9052 use the same bezels. But i do not know of any actual model using a clear or yellow jelly bezel.

You can try Seaglow to get back some of that original, mint look. I believe there is a thread in the Tutorials about that.

BTW: Nice watch. I like that the G button becomes the start stop button when using the stopwatch.

I don't think your bezel and strap have 'turned' yellow - it looks to me as though they were yellow to begin with - let's face it, you have a yellow 'G' button, and yellow 'water 200M resist'.

I know this isn't exactly the same model (strap differs), but it's very close - DW9000XS-9T

Definetely - it was yeellow to begin with, but seglow might help to go back from the amber tone to it`s original, lighter yellow.
