    Casio G-Shock dw-6500 help needed

Hey fellas for this NOS skyforce, almost new condition, but when doing some maintenance I got a little problem, I can't manage to remove the black ring inside the case to clear all the five that the watch create among the years that was stored! Did anyone ever removed it, I need help!

Yeah that's it, I use just a microfiber cloth, but the problem is, the black plastic ring that contains the lettering, in vintage models it's removable, and in this I can't remove it, it looks like it is fixed between the glass and the inner metal part inside the case! And the problem is that's a lot of fog in the glass I have to remove the plastic ring....

That's what I will do, praying not to ruin the lettering

Question has anyone clean the inside of a watch with water!? Will it be safe, will I be lucky to remove the foggy with water!?

    It works.

Swirl the watch case around in soapy water and then blast it with a stream from a shower head which you can direct where needed. The biggest problem is getting the streaks of the inside of the glass subsequently.

You will be very pleasantly surprised by the difference it makes, getting the water out from under the insert is harder, it gets trapped against the glass. Just keep shaking the watch until you have it all out and dry it with a hairdryer on cool and then a bit of glass cleaner on the glass and you will be good to go.

Post a picture back on here when you have done it. Don't use very hot water, old resin doesn't like it, keep it lukewarm.

No water to this mint condition bezel, very rare in this condition...job done watch dry it very good and even left in for one hour with silica gel inside the case, the only problem was the the supposed microfiber cloth let some fibers glue literally glued to the black ring, to bad... damn it looks so much good now!
It's such pleasure to to look at this old piece at such a good condition
