    Casio g-shock g-5600rb-1jf "black spots"

I'm interested in buying my first G-shock, but having trouble locating it. I did a search and found an old thread mentioning that this particular model is only sold in Japan. Any tips as far as how I can get my hands on one?

I saw this on a japanese watch online shop through rakuten website. I want to get this one as well but its like 100 bucks more expensive than the one without the black lcd.

I'd think twice about it even if I could find one. The module in that watch was notorious for having charging problems, and any new old stock around today will have been sitting in the dark for years. Not a good recipe for a trouble-free watch...
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

Sir Tribe is correct, i bought a regular G-5600 and a G-5600RB a little over a year ago. the regular one is garbage now although, and somewhat surprisingly the black spots is still alive and working
its a gamble with this watch so id recommend the GW-M5600BC or GW-5000B instead
