You can either send the watch in Casio Service Center, or DYI to open the caseback and see if the button is still making contact, or do a reset.

If you are not comfortable with DYI, your closest Casio Service Center is the way to go.

If the watch was new when you "just bought" it, it's almost surely under warranty, in which case you'll probably either want to return it to the retailer that sold it to you or contact Casio directly: Casio Support:Timepieces

Since that link specifically says "The customer shall NOT have any claim under this warranty for repair or adjustment expenses if:

    (3) The problem is caused by improper repair or adjustment made by anyone other than a CASIO service center"
you probably don't want to try "do it yourself" if it's still under warranty.

But only if he bought it from an authorized dealer. My understanding is that Casio does not honor the warranty on watches purchased from non-authorized dealers.

No matter who he bought it from, he should just exchange it for another one if the vendor will do that (authorized or not).

Thank you for all of your response. Meanwhile I found out, that if I pull out the crown the B button works well in every function.
Sorry but I am not a prof of g-shoch watches. I saw lots of video, and in every video the crown seemed to pulled back, and B button worked that way.
On the other hand the manual does not mention to pull out the crown for that functions that B button is needed for.

Is it normal that this button works only with pulled out crown?

    Thank you

Can you show us a picture of the watch? Just to make sure you're not getting a fake watch.

There's bug with the forum software using the Quick Reply mode, apparently they still haven't fix this! Go back to your last post (# 7), edit the post and use the Advanced mode to re-attach the pictures.
