Tom, you are an evil man. This one is already on my list and these pictures are great! Just have to bide my time and grit my teeth a little longer.

The 7900's are my favourites, although the 56s are currently my focus. But nothing is excluded, except pink Risemans.

    Nice pictures, congratulations!.

Is it made in Thailand? I'm curious because you're in Roi Et, which is not far from the new Casio factory in Nakhonratchasima. Is there a G-Shock outlet in Thailand? LOL.

This is probably one of best GX56 I have seen. Is there an atomic version, or is this the only one available? Appreciate any info you can give.

Is there an atomic version? I am looking for a reversed display version of the GW5600-1JI already own.

If it's not an atomic model what do the L/M/H markers on the bottom undicate? On the GW5600 they measure the battery strength.

Yes there is an atomic version. The H, M, L are always indicators of battery life regardless of atomic function or not. I dont think they're used for atomic signal strength I think that is indicated by L1, L2, or L3 whrn attempting to sync.

oppps, you're correct. I was thinking of the atomic signal strength. I find all of these recent 5600/5000 series watches with the black display seem to miss one or 2 key things that the original reverse display GW5600-1j had and when it was originally for sale is much cheaper than the ones selling now. Some have atomic but not solar, and some are solar but not atomic. Plus the new limited edition X series look goofy and to think they are selling for $400 is ridiculous, I want the older one more and for less, if I can find one.
