Casio G shock jumping forward one hour

I bought a Casio G shock protection digital watch the other day and am quite pleased with it. However, on two consecutive days I've noticed that when putting the watch on in the morning it's skipped forward one hour. The first time it happened I thought I must have not realised it was one hour ahead of normal time. But yesterday I put the time back one hour and two daily it has yet again skipped forward one hour so there must be something in the settings that are making this happen. Any ideas guys?

Is it a watch that has Multi Band 6 that updates once per day? If so, do you have DST set to off?

I wondered what DST stood for. These three letters are about the seconds. I assume I should switch it off?

It's Daylight Savings Time. Set your watch to the correct time manually as you have been doing. Then set DST to Auto. Then do a manual Sync and see what happens. I suspect you have DST set to off so each time it is doing an automatic sync (once per night) it is not taking DST into account and it is leaving you an hour out. If I am correct then after the manual sync it will display the correct time and you are good to go.

Okey dokey, I will try and do that. I didn't think it was going to be so complicated. Thanks

A manual sync isn't hard but if you want to keep it really easy just set DST to auto and leave your watch by a window tonight (or wherever you have been leaving it the last two nights)

The manual can be a great place to start.

What model is your watch, and where do you live?

Is the home city (time zone) set correctly? If it is, and DST is set to Auto, a successful MultiBand sync should set the proper time.
