    Casio G-Shock warranty any good?

    I've got a glx5600 with a bad lcd display.
    some of the black lines are missing (the ones that make up the letters are numbers for reading the time) while others are just fine.

    I'm guessing its more than just a battery problem.

    should i use my warranty (still under 1 year)
    watch is pretty much brand new.

    -Which country did you buy it?
    -Which country do you live?
    -Did you buy it at an authorized dealer?
    -Do you have a (stamped) warranty card?
    -How long ago did you buy the watch?

    If you bought it at a dealer just contact them.

    I don't know how Casio does warranty but I do have a vague understanding of general watch brand warranties that's why I asked those questions.
    Perhaps someone else can use that information.

    For now, I would contact the store and or find out if they are an authorized dealer. Perhaps telling us which store it was could help.

    I also found this on the Casio website:

    Which at least doesn't direct you to contact the store but provides a phone number for US residents instead.
