    casio gdf-100 sensor painted

just removed the bezel...first tryed to dye the red sensor cover ,but the dye wouldnt take...so i painted it with model paint and 24hrs later re-installed it.very easy to remove the bezel and the red sensor cover. will test it over a couple of days to see if the paint will hold ..but im sure it should.might remove the red from the light button next

Wouldn't the paint coat affect the reading of the sensor? It does look nice though.

What you did is cool but I always like the red dots on GDF-100 myself.

i dont think it will affect the readings because its just a "cap" or cover .the sensor is actually located on the side of the casing, yet the sensor bezel holes are on the front of the bezel.so far the watch is as acurate as always.all ive done is give the red dots a coating of black paint.....will monitor the watch over a few days...but so far so good

You only painted the cap, so there won't be a problem.
    Cheers!
