You could put a protective film over the acrylic crystal - similar to those used on cell phones - you just need to cut it to size. Or buy some polywatch to polish the crystal every now and then.

But the AQ-S810 is IMO one of the best current Casio ana-digis. It also looks very G-Shock-like. They should put this module in a G.

I know that sometimes a cheap Casio watch may have a better module than an expensive G-shock, I have a $50 AQ-164W watch that I used heavily for my physical training, it has everything a G-shock should have (home time, world time with DST, 100 hours stopwatch with 30 laps memory, timer, alarms with snooze, hourly sig...) and it also can drive a set of analog hands. Far better than my $100 G-5600. I like the fact that this watch uses two batteries, one for the module and the other for EL, very clean technical design IMO

But in the spirit of the OP's problem, I suggest that he should buy a G-shock, for example, the GW-9200 has a screen protector, I wore mine for 3 years in a row and there is zero mark / scratch on its screen while the bezel has plenty of marks.

There are ana-digit G-shock with both analog hands and LCD like your watch, and they are scratch / shock proof, you may want to consider one, it's a good investment in long term.

The 2500 aviator has a similar size, but they are discontinued now.

There are some others, but I can't quote links right now because I'm on a tablet pc.
