Casio MTG1000, how big, and how cheap?

Looking at the 1A version. I see the specs say (http://www.casio.com/products/Timepi...ct/MTG1000-1A/) that the case is 46.98mm, which is about the size I'm looking for, but can anyone that owns one tell me what's the actual diameter of the face/crytsal? It seems like a sweet watch, but the face seems like it might be a tad small in proportion to the rest of the watch. Any idea how it would compare in size to the face or the Citizen BL5380-58E? http://www.citizenwatch.com/COA/Engl...ber=BL5380-58E

It's just a fraction shy of 27 mm across the crystal. I think it looks proportionally correct, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I suppose. It's a nice watch...I'm happy with mine.

Thanks. Quick question. Is the lettering that is on the bezel (G-Shock, Shock Resist, Start, etc.) painted on, or is it molded in as a different resin? Just wondering whether it's going to scratch off easily

The letters are indentations in the resin which are also painted. I think you can tell a bit in this image. I left the image huge so you can make out the detail. I got no impression it was going to wear off.

Thanks for the info. The indentations would definitely help. Depending on the paint, it could also be pretty scratch resistant.
