Have one for a few days now.

Resin on the bracelet, bezel, lower side of case where the buttons are as can be seen on the pictures. There are two pieces of resin on the buckle.

It does not have a backlight, and the neo-brite fades very fast.

It is a beauty to look at. But functionally a very basic watch with local and world time, chronograph and alarm.

Only available in Japan and the US.
When you have the patience to watch grass grow, where is the watch for?

So no major functions over my G-7900. Thanks for the reply, but now i can't justify 550$ for this watch to myself

boy, if you want a better G with major functions over your G-7900, good luck in finding one....

    cheers

btw. you already have one of the best and most legible analog watches in your signature, you never could expect such a performance from ANY analog casio - no matter how much you spend.

Thanks and no need for sarcasm. We all love watches and look for input from the forum users.I'm usually trying to get the best bang for the buck, but in this case i thought sell a few from the collection and get this watch. Now it seems it's not worth it.

sarcasm? where do you think was sarcasm? i mean what i write, this is serious.

the G-7900 is one - if not the best - G's made to date. it features the functions of two highly sophisticated watches (G-9100 gulfman and G-9000 mudman) in one case. it is one of the very rare G's, that can illuminate the display up to five seconds, 24h cdt, 2x1000h stw, moongraph, tidegraph, traget date alarms, display flasher, best to operate buttons, reliable CR2025 battery, rugged design and monster case and all for cheap. you can spent 10x as much on some other g-shock's, but you'll find hardly one that does the job better.

the Seiko SKZ255 has the most legible dial of any analog watch i have seen to date (i have the SKZ247 myself), it's lume is next to insanely bright, all with a rugged case, high quality bracelet, stuuning tactical look and also for relative cheap - compared to other divers out there.

so tell me, where is sarcasm in that?

    cheers

I see no sarcasm either. A misunderstanding, I think.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...
