CASIO PROTREK PAG-40-3V? Do I need to reset the compass and altimeter after battery change?

    Hi folks,

Here is my watch. I think it is a -3V but not 100% sure.

I just did a battery change myself. I also did the "connect pin to AC" instruction.
Now I noticed that my altimeter is showing pretty high elevation. I believe my
elevation is 300ft ASL and it is showing 5000ft ASL.

So do I need to reset/recliabrate the altimeter and the compass also?

    thanks,

Yes, the compass should be calibrated once per month anyway and you need to do this to the altimeter as well on a daily basis, since it drifts like crazy.

    cheers
