Casio Protrek - "spring bar" issue

Hopefully Protrek questions are OK here....

I've got an old Protrek from probably 10 years ago or so. At some point, one of the 'screw ends' from the 'spring bar' got lost, such that it doesn't really work. Missing the end part which you can't see here.

Anybody have any idea where something like this can be replaced? I've done some searching on here and on some Japan sites and can't see anything obvious. I tried taking this to a local store ages ago and got nowhere. Would like to get this back into the rotation....but need this little part! (or a similar replacement)

    Thanks!

PacParts and TikTox would be a good place to look, but since you're in Japan I'm positive you could find parts faster and easier locally.
    Cheers!

You would think.... unfortunately not exactly as easy as that.... Retail shops are very much retail. Need to search out more 'repair' type places but disappointing retail places are completely clueless.

Thanks for the tips, will have a quick look.

    Really? Caspita!
Would you have access to an authorized repair center? I'm sure that if there is something compatible they should have it.
    Cheers!

Instead of just looking for the little screw, maybe it easier to find the whole assembly (both ends and the barrel?)?

Yes, I am OCD. What gave it away?

    Excellent suggestion!

Have had a look, most bands don't seem to come with it.

Will have a look around locally, if nothing soon will just order to the US and visit for the winter or something.....
