    Casio PRT-40: lost manual

    Hi!

A friend of mine with an "historic" Casio PRT-40 is unable to find his original manual. The watch was gave him years ago an wasn't used from much time, so it's probably lost somewhere.
Any chance of finding a PDF version, or an old one around?

    Many thanks for any info,
    Bye!

Cool Re: Casio PRT-40: lost manual

Have your friend check out the module number on back of the watch then look for the PDF manual via this link ===> http://world.casio.com/wat/download/en/manual/

On the back there's a 1470 inside a rectangle: I think is that the number, right?
But unfortunately there's no manual associated with that model! :(

    Thanks,
    Bye!

D'oh! Is the model discontinued? I wonder if they do not provide PDF manuals for discontinued module/models.

I'm afraid yes. The Casio site define it a "miliare stone" in one of the company's history page.

    Hello,

I came upon this "watchuseek" forum and your request for a prt-40 manual. Not sure if you have obtained one yet but if not there is a copy available at the following website...

Oh yes, I got it. The one above was exactly right. Sorry, forgot to "report back" as said.
    But thanks to you too.

I am seeking the manual for the PRT-40 also.

Any ideas about how much this watch's instruments would have deteriorated?
