    Casio SPF-40? anyone own one?

looking at a trade for one of these, can anyone give me some info in regards to size, features, maybe comparisons to a PAG-240 or G-Shock or Suunto Core?

    thanks in advance.

Re: Casio SPF-40? anyone own one?

Ihope to find the time to dig mine out (it´s been ystored in parts as i am modding it a bit)

It´s comparable to the PRG-40 size and feature wise, added are moon/tide and yachting timer. Actually the modules share the same layout, one will fit into each others case (a thought that is tempting me since i found out)

It is a nice watch, although a bit outdated when it comes to features (no solar or atomic, it uses 4 1,5 V batteries, AG 7 i believe) t titanium bracelet ones look nicer imho as they feature less blue parts, but that is just me. Dr. House (House MD) wore one in one of the seasons, if that matters at all.

It feels hefter than the PRG 40 because for example the bezel ring is made of metal.

I found some pics in an old FS thread:

im really wondering how large it is compared to other models like the PAG-240 or King. bigger the better for me. but yea, i dig the blue and white, so thats not an issue.

    thanks for the info!

    Hi Brendan.
As Lowtech mentioned, the SPF-40 is comparable in size to the PRg-40. Here's a wrist shot of mine:

Size: 63.9 KB
I have a puny 6 1/4" wrist so it looks pretty large on me.
Hope this helps in some way.
    Lee
