    Question Casio Thermometer Watches

    Guys I have a DW 6100 I use for rock climbing is the thermometer reliable by any chance for telling of temperature changes.:thanks

    Okay scrap what I said; I hope these threads help.
    From memory time to measure the temp is a pretty long. That and accuracy isn't laboratory
    spec.

    i second what resin said. i have a dw6100 myself and the thermo is cool. but time to accuracy is only for the patient as it is not on the dot, nor a speedy one. still a great watch, thats the one watch iv frozen numerous times just for fun. haha

    I share your question about the use of the thermometer function....but have a look in the manual. You will find a graph that shows the actual temperature corrected for your body temp at different actual temperatures.

    In the informal tests that I've made, the watches are uncannily accurate when left on the shelf. They will be within a degree of each other if you compare two together, and are right on when compared to a regular thermometer.

    ....Mmmmm, the DW6100...my favorite (unless something else catches my eye momentarily)
