    Casio With Vibrant Alarm

    Which G-Shock have vibrant alarm?
For those of you who own one, is it useful? Have you ever ben waked up by this alarm if the watch lies close to you but not on your wrist?

i dont wake up from the noise the vibe alarm makes. dont know of any other vibe alarm on a watch that makes a hard enough noise, i think it has something to do with the resin bezel damping the vibrations to the surface its sitting on. you should look for a metal case with vibe alarm.

But i'm just the proud owner of a GD-350-1BER, dont have experience with other watches of this sort.

Good Luck on your vibe quest ^^

On my wrist, the vibrating alarm on my GD-350 is strong enough to awaken me from a sound sleep. I have no idea how a vibrating alarm would create enough noise to awaken someone if it were not on the wrist. The Casio "audible" alarms are all to weak for me to hear.

    Re: Casio With Vibrant Alarm

I have a few watches with vibe alarm - the GD-350, GL-7500, W-735H and two Timex watches with that feature and I got a Freestyle "Buzz 2.0" incoming (I hope it'll get here tomorrow). Of those watches the GL-7500 does the best job in waking me up. It's no longer available but the G-7500 is almost the same watch and should maybe still be available (at least it is still in shops in Germany) - just has a telememo feature instead of the moon/tide of the GL-7500. The strongest vibration however has the small Timex Expedition Vibration Alarm (I can never memorize the model number - it's just too long) - it has no real snooze alarm however which is essential IMO if you wanna use a vibe alarm to wake you up. The Timex only repeats the alarm once - you could set all 3 alarms in a row however.

    cheers, Sedi

And, yes, my vibrating watches have waken me up. If you put your vibrating watch on something hollow it will create a echo that can wake you up too.

The MTG is retired and the 5600 too. Right now, the only working G-Shocks that I use and enjoy are the Riseman GW9200-1 and the GW6900-1

If I can own a Rolex Submariner I would. I know they are tough too, their homages are tough. Trust me.
