    Casio WV200 (OT)

What do you think of these?

    200M
    World time.
    Atomic.
    Stopwatch.
    Timer.
    Etc.

I saw them at WalMart (I think $50), and I thought they looked kind of cool. The only thing that bothers me is that they are Waveceptor (Atomic) but not solar. The expected battery life is 2 years. I think if I had one of these I would probably turn off the automated atomic part. That just wastes too much power, especially for a non-solar. I'd expect the battery life to be *greatly* lengthened after that.

I've seen those in stores too, and I agree - they look great. They're kind of like a Casio version of the Timex Ironman.

    I bought the blue one.

    pro:
It a huge watch with nice bold display.
And is one of the few Casios with adjustable DAY/Date order.
Very nice since in Germany the date is usually spelled DD-MM-YYYY.

    con:
limited timer (60min, settable to minute)

I believe the stopwatch and timer are only 60 minutes.

I had the blue one. I liked it a lot. Just liked others more and sold it off for lunch money.

Cool looking watch, they kinda remind me of my old school original Timex Atlantis 100.

Experience is what you end up with when you didn't get what you wanted.

Yes! I was thinking of the original steel Atlantis, too. Or else those rounded-square Casio's from the 80's.
