    Casio WVQ-600 questions

I have a couple of G-shocks and am new to this forum.

I recently saw the spec on the WVQ-600 and it is everything I am looking for in a G-Shock. Apart from having every feature
imaginable it is only 11.8mm thick!

If this is true where can I get one. I'm in the UK and it doesn't seem to be available over here.

    :thanks

Do you mean this? (5th down)

It's not a G-Shock, but it does seem to be available in the UK.

Thanks for that. I never realised it wasn't a G-Shock! It is very well spec'd though, and with features like hardened glass etc makes it a very rugged watch that could almost be substituted for a G-Shock.

My GW-500 is a great watch but just a little too thick for shirtsleeves.

Are there any G-Shocks that are 13mm or thinner?

The G-8000 is 11.2mm, and the G-056 (is that what it's called?) is 11mm, I believe.

The G-8000 is a terrific watch. I haven't bothered to find out much about the G-056, because I think it looks, er.... horrible!

I don't own a G-8000, but I got the chance to try one out for a while at a Sunglasses Hut. It has a lot of features and the display is one of the coolest I've seen (especially the green-negative one), and it is pretty small for a G-Shock. You might want to check one out

Mine came from Sunglass Hut in Great Britain. It's my no.2 G - a 5600 for the new millennium, I reckon!
