    Casiotron

Anyone collect the Casiotron models? I just won one of eBay and am interested to see if other G-Shock collectors have any.

I hope that the 'grey' on the face is just the lighting and not fading.

Casionerd knows a lot about older Casio models, but I haven't seen him around much after the crash....

I don't know much about the Casiotron. I believe it was the first series of affordable LCD watches back in the days. I believe there are even collectors of them, although the prices payed for them are just a small fraction of what is payed for vintage DW/WW-5X00 models.

    Cheers,

    Hi Pete -

They are fantastic models and I also have a few which I acquired in Japan..

Real heavy duty CASIO'S and they were an expensive model in their day

I would snap some pics but mine are still inside a Japan box somewhere..

    Good luck with the watch

    All the best - OZZ

I don't know if you call it a casiotron, but it is an old casio from around 1982 or so. I will post it as soon as I receive it. I think there is a lot to be said of the old casio alarm/chrono watches. I also found another vintage dw5600 gshocks are my first love.
