change the display color of your Rangeman

Do you want a new color? You can apply a plastic film, I suggest the film for headlights...

Cut a circle, modify sides and bottom, wet the glass and the film and apply, after 24 hours the Rangeman is yellow...

Another trick is to cut out a template in paper first, then use that to cut the plastic film.

I've considered doing that before with anti-glare film for cellphone screen, because some of my solar G's are way too reflective under the sun. The only doubt I have is how long it will last under repeat contact with water. What's your thought / experience on that?

No problem to take a shower, consider the film is the same in automotive, and the rain is possible on the car

To hide the edges of the film completely you can sandwich the film between the bezel and the mineral glass.

I tried but the thickness is not zero and the bezel force around buttons, a bit...
But surely is the best solution for a perfect result.

Very cool, wonder if it could be done to mod a negative screen to change it something a little more readable. I have an Olive Rangeman that I hardly wear because I liked the way it looked when I ordered it, but when I started wearing it and realized that couldn't use it in the office lighting and on sunny days.

Remove the bezel so it hides the film edges, looks cleaner. Nice mod.

One more question, so this is automotive headlights film, does it use adhesive? Or the same like cellphone screen films simply cling on to the screen once you squeeze out the air in between?

The operation manual indicate to wet both surfaces, the film contains adhesive, but without water is is difficult to avoid air bubbles, the water cove the interface and requires some hours to disappear, but the advantage is you can move the film for long time and center perfectly. If I'm right, some screen protector use the adhesive weather based.
With less than 10 dollars you find a big sheet, eBay source or automotive parts stores.
