:thanks Sjors ! Yes, the dial looks a bit busy on the pics, but less so on the wrist because the pics make it look so big. And the stealthed bezel adds to the readability of the watch. Nothing to distract the eye from the hands if you look at it from arm's length.

However having just read your report, the desire to try again is quite strong. Thus the proverbial strap length question comes up. Do you think it would fit on my wrist? The size of which is 8" (or) 203mm. I like to be able to insert the index finger of my other hand between the strap and my wrist with it buckled in place.
:thanks m8! I'm not sure if it will fit an 8'' wrist . Mine is 18cm and I wear it on the 6th hole right now which makes for a loose fit. Then there would be 3.5cm left to the last hole. However I think the trick with the Suunto-clips might work on that model too like on the mudman . The strap attachment looks similar although it has a massive bolt going through the whole strap - not like the Mudman 'screw-in-fiberglass'-strap-attachment. So you might be able to put it on a Zulu. There was a thread here once where someone took the GW-2000 apart - you could search for it and it might give some hints if the Suunto-clips might work.
