    Changing battery on Solar G-shock

Suppose the need does come to replace the battery in a solar watch, then is replacing the battery as easy as it is as compared to its non-solar counterpart?

Yes, they feature the well-known battery holders. Just different cells.

Yep, exactly the same process. You might just need to source the battery online. I wasn't able to find any in Austin and it's a rather techie city.

I ordered from them (online is faster the guy said when I called).

American Perfit - An Authorized Distributor for Casio Accessories, Casio Parts, Casio Label Tapes and Casio Watches and various PDA Screen Protectors and Multi-Function Stylus Pens.

I got some CTL1616's to replace some solar cells on the GW-300 series.

Install was the same, but pesky due to the spring bars on the band. But nothing to do with installing the battery itself.
