Changing the face on an analog G

Anyone know how possible it would be to change the face of a G1000 series analog G? Anyone do it before?

I was wondering if the white face on a G1000D-7A could be changed over to the black face of the G1000-1A.

This is a new model similar to the GS-1000 and GS-1100. Both are relatively expensive higher end G's. The G-1000 is brand new. I haven't heard of anybody owning one yet, so it's not too surprizing that no one has tried to modify one yet. You could be the pioneer.
